Spirits
Spirits at T.J.'s Fine Wine and Liquor in Brandon, Mississippi: what it is, how to choose it, and the brands on our shelf.
Bourbon, whiskey, tequila, scotch, cognac, vodka, gin, rum and liqueurs. This page explains the sections at T.J.'s Fine Wine and Liquor in Brandon, Mississippi.
How to choose
Say how you are going to drink it. Neat, on ice, or buried in a mixer. That one answer eliminates most of the wall.
Proof matters more than age. Higher proof carries flavor through ice and cola. If a drink tastes watery, the bottle was too soft, not too cheap.
Buy the tier that fits the job. Everyday for mixing, step up for sipping, special occasion for giving. Spending more on a bottle you are going to mix with Coke is money on the floor.
